"A Mafic Nonconformity" was created on 3/29/08 at The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, CA during "The Night of True Rockage." Music by Toastmachine, On the Attack, and many others.
A special thanks goes out Gio of Toastmachine, and Tom at The Phoenix. This would have been impossible with out you guys!
I would also like to thank Jeff Meyers for documenting this event with photos and videos.
And yes, thanks to the guy that walked on it at the concert while still wet. It wouldn't have been the same with out you!
Check out the photo slide show of the creation of this piece by clicking on the following link:
Believe it or not, it went from start to finish within the duration of the concert....so about 4 and a half hours. The concert went from about 8 to 12:30ish. I actually had pretty bad exaustion the following day and spent most of my time in bed.
But do check out the photo tour! It's alot of fun.
I checked out the slide show and the first video. And wow, not wonder you were tired! That is a lot of canvas to cover in such a short about of time. Very interesting to see how if came about...especially the building of the layers. Wonderful job and great documenting of the event.
Thanks for sharing all this, Aaron.
