Artist's Comments
Based on a photograph I took in 2004 while on the Island of St. Marteen. This was a once in a lifetime sunset and my photograph didn't quite do it justice. So I decided to recreate it in oil. I still failed, and I will probably never succeed in even coming close to how incredible it was to being in that place during that moment.
